Residents’ Beach is exactly what the name implies: a private beach for residents of Marco Island which is maintained by the Marco Island Civic Association. The on-site restaurant, Paradise Grill, is open to all guests but tourists will need to purchase a paid-for beach pass to enjoy the facilities. To get the pass, you have to be
staying on Marco Island for at least 30 days.
Paradise Grill only offers outdoor patio seating and guests can also take their meal to the BBQ area. Breakfast and lunch hours vary by season and the restaurant closes for the month of September after Labor Day.
The
menu features typical American fare, including Buttermilk Pancakes and French Toast for breakfast. Lunch choices include multiple kinds of seafood, fish, meat, and salad options. A separate kids meal is available and includes chips and a treat. Guests order from a window and wait for their name to be called to pick up their order.
Alcohol choices are limited to just beer and wine. Non-alcoholic beverages include a Root Beer Float, Iced Tea, Lemonade, and Fountain Sodas. The restaurant takes proper care of its fragile environment and doesn’t serve straws and lids.
Awesome. It’s nothin’ fancy but it’s the perfect place to grab lunch when you’re hanging out at Residents’ Beach. You don’t have to worry about bringing food or drinks to the beach. Just grab a beach towel and go. If you’re staying on Marco for less that thirty days, you’ll miss out on Residents’ Beach and Paradise Grill. No worries, just head over to
Stilts or Sunset Grille for beachfront dining.
Many reviews on TripAdvisor and Yelp highlight the busy nature of the parking lot during peak season.
