While our island offers a variety of vacation properties, it’s Marco Island’s beachfront condo rentals that seem to garner the most attention. It’s no wonder. The beach is a big, crescent-shaped beauty. The well-maintained condos and grand high-rises are a far cry from the typical worn-out old beach town. The boulevard is covered in palm trees. It’s really something else.
Most of the condos on the beach are two-bedroom/ two-bath models designed to take full advantage of the spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico. They are all equipped for long-term or permanent residents. So, the kitchens are well-appointed. We have great restaurants on Marco, but you can easily make all your meals in your vacation rental if you like.
You’ll love your vacation home away from home. The white sand beach, the restaurants and the people are like nothing else anywhere. All of the beach condos have resort-style pools, fitness centers and a host of other amenities. Many offer great social calendars. You’re sure to leave Marco with new friends.
How long you intend to stay will determine which rental condo will suit you. Most beach condos for rent on beautiful Marco Island rent by the month. This policy serves the “snowbirds” which usually visit for a couple of months, if not the entire winter season. It also limits turnover, which appeals to owners that live in their condos year-round.
Marco Island does have several beach condos that rent by the week, though. Perhaps most popular among these is the South Seas Towers 3 & 4. They overlook the north end of the main beach and Tigertail Beach.
Another popular weekly rental is Somerset. This luxury beach condo is on the south end of the beach near Cape Marco and Marco Walk Shopping Center. This upscale building is loved. Most people vacation here year after year.
Beach condos for rent on Marco Island are available to fit almost any budget. For example, rental units in South Seas and Tradewinds are more affordable than the average beach hotel. Then, on the other end of the spectrum, Marco Island offers beach condos in the ultra-luxury category. These are genuinely world-class accommodations. Bringing your beach gear with you on vacation can prove quite a challenge with all the bags and suitcases that you already need to carry. That’s why rarely anybody bothers to bring beach gear, baby equipment, and other heavy things with them on the road. Many of the condos include beach chairs and other essential accessories. Anything else you may need can is available at reasonable prices. The rental companies deliver too. The vendors also offer beach gear such as lounge chairs, umbrellas, towels, and other necessities for an afternoon at the beach.
Besides basic beach gear, you can also rent recreational equipment like pontoon boats, canoes, and small motorboats. On top of that, you can arrange various tours. For example, a boat trip to observe wildlife in the remote northern part of the island, among other activities.
You can order snorkel gear and other accessories that will enhance your beach condo experience.
The rates are slightly higher for delivery rentals, but you may find the difference negligible. You can rent any equipment for a day or a week. For example, two chairs and an umbrella cost $30 for a day or $85 for seven days. A family pack of four chairs and an umbrella is $60 per day or $170 per week.
The Marco Island area is known for more than just its beach. Golf is a big part of the lifestyle here in Southwest Florida. Our beach condo rentals make excellent family vacation headquarters for golf trips. So, you can enjoy the beach when you’re not on the golf course. Marco is an excellent location from which getting to Naples, Fort Myers, or any other city on the Gulf coast is easy. There are always fun and interesting activities on Marco Island.
Pets are allowed in some of the condos. They have to be small dogs or cats in most cases. The beach condos that allow weekly rentals don’t allow pets of any kind. Also, you should know that dogs aren’t allowed on the beach, despite the island’s overall pet-friendly reputation. Of course, that doesn’t mean that your pet won’t be able to enjoy a stay on Marco Island. The sidewalks are wide, and pets tell us they love walking on Marco.
It seems like Marco Island beach condos get more popular every year. This little island isn’t like other beach towns in Florida. It’s almost like a residential neighborhood. So many people live here year-round or at least spend the winter here. The relatively high owner-occupancy rate means that beach condos for rent aren’t as plentiful and are always in demand. If you don’t find the perfect condo on our website, call us. We can usually find a perfect Marco Island vacation rental for you.
