Mango’s Dockside Bistro is located steps away from the waterfront with plenty of outdoor seating available. The restaurant was opened in 2011 by a father, mother, and daughter trio and offers a family-friendly setting with a new 750-gallon saltwater fish tank that kids and adults alike admire.
The patio is waterfront and is everyone’s first choice if the weather is nice. The dining room and bar area are great too.
Breakfast a la carte is served Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The simple menu offers something for everyone at budget-friendly prices. A plate of pancakes or waffles start at just $6 and adults can add a Bloody Mary or Mango Mimosa to their order.
The restaurant serves a breakfast buffet (seasonal only) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
The lunch menu includes a sushi bar and is served to guests in traditional sushi boats. The standard dinner menu offers something for everyone, with options ranging from seasonal fish choices, pasta, burgers, and sandwiches.
Happy hour specials are offered daily from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and include several deals such as $1 off all beers and $5 for select martins.
Mango’s Dockside Bistro can host events catering to a wide range of crowds from “flip-flops to tuxedos.”
You can’t beat Mango’s location. It’s centrally located at 760 N Collier Blvd (at the Esplanade). The view and vibe are wonderful. Parking is usually adequate. On busy nights, they let you park in the grass. The restaurant is directly on Smokehouse bay, overlooking the marina. Primo.
Ah, Mango’s. The Sun King has had lunch here about a million times. The atmosphere overlooking the marina at The Esplanade Shoppes is incredible. The food is fantastic as well. The King usually goes for the fish tacos or the Grouper platter, blackened. The Sun King also likes Mango’s happy hour. The sushi special and a cold beverage make for a great little dinner. If you’re super-hungry, Mango’s Dockside Bistro offers a wide selection of seafood, steak, and chicken – all good stuff.
