Snook Inn is the most famous restaurant on Marco Island. It’s almost synonymous with the island. If you mention to anyone familiar with Marco that you’ve vacationed here, they will ask if you tried the Snook Inn, so you should probably try it.
Snook Inn is a favorite among locals and guests for its waterfront dining environment and is open from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m daily. These guys knows the only thing better than happy hour is double happy hour. Certain drinks are discounted in half daily 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and once again from 10 p.m. until midnight. Late night food is also available as of 10:00 p.m. daily.
The menu is full of classic comfort foods with innovative twists with a focus on Island Specialties. They make full use of fresh ingredients, including seafood that is caught the same day. One notable standout includes a Tropical Summer Salad which features a blackened fresh fish of the day served over mixed greens with fresh fruit. Meat lovers will also have plenty to choose from, including steak, burgers, and chicken options.
The beach-like setting is ideal for families with children. The kid’s menu includes favorites like Chicken Fingers, Grilled Cheese, and others.
Live entertainment is a hallmark of Snook Inn and guests can expect to be treated to live music daily. From Thursday through Sunday, live music is offered from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The King has his favorite spots on Marco Island and Snook Inn is one of them. The festive atmosphere is lively with tourists and locals. The setting couldn’t be better. Your table is right on the waterfront in an area of the Marco River that is busy with boat and dolphin traffic.
Live music is somewhat scarce on Marco. You can always count on good entertainment under their tiki hut.
For food, the Sun King always goes with the blackened grouper sandwich and a trip to the salad bar. The grouper sandwich may be the best anywhere. The prices aren’t low but you have to account for the real estate that the Snook Inn occupies.
