Like they are in most places, the Starbucks on Marco Island is perpetually busy. The coffee and specialty drinks keep the place hopping day and night. If you need a caffeine fix while you’re on vacation just hop in your car on your bike and you’ll be there in minutes. The menu is exactly as you’d expect.
A few years ago, Starbucks left its long-time home in the Esplanade Shops on Marco and moved down the street to a new, purpose-built location. This was apparently done to take advantage of a drive-thru which the old building lacked. By all accounts, this move more than doubled their business.
Starbucks is arguably the world’s most popular coffee chain and offers locals and guests to the island a familiar experience. The Marco Island location opens daily at 5:30 a.m. except for Sunday when it opens at 6:00 a.m. The location closes Monday through Thursday at 10:00 p.m, Friday at 9:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 p.m.
Guests can place their order through the mobile app, drive-through, or in person. The restaurant offers oven-warmed food options, Nitro Cold Brew, and the higher-end “Starbucks Reserve – Clover Brewed” coffee. Just Google “Starbucks near me” or click on the map below to get directions to the store.
The Sun King doesn’t drink coffee. A tea drinker from the time he was known as the Sun Prince, he simply never developed a taste for the bean. Nevertheless, he has had many iced teas and hot teas at the Starbucks on Marco Island. As ubiquitous and consistent as Starbucks is, no one really needs to read a review of them.
The staff is friendly. The vibe is typical Starbucks except for the fact you’re on Marco Island, which makes everything better. In fact, I’ll bet that you will enjoy watching palm trees sway in the breeze while you sip your coffee.
